Family trip to beautiful woden village under Sidorovo hill.
The route follow cycling road Cyklokorytnička along the river Revúca. In the part called Biely Potok turn right and take direction to Vlkolínec with a slight climb. The second part of the climbing is harder, but better cyclists can do it. If less capable or very young cyclist can't do it, they need push bicycle about 400 m uphill. Next to the church in Vlkolínec, you connect to old dirt road returns you to Ružomberok with a great view.
Find and enjoy beautiful scenery of wooden village from 13th century which belongs to Unesco Heritage. Old wooden houses are reconstructed original way and some of them are still permanetly inhabited.There are also several museum expositions and outdoor playground for kids. Make a picnic and relax with your family on meadow. Vlkolínec is often scene of various events during summer season.
